Danner and New Balance are iconic American footwear manufacturers that have established themselves as makers of quality products within their respective fields. Based out of Portland, OR and Boston, MA respectively, the two manufacturers from opposite ends of the country have come together for a special collaborative collection titled Danner x New Balance American Pioneer Project.
Reinterpreting each of their most popular silhouettes while borrowing from the other’s iconic color and material palette, the MiUSA 585 utilizes Danner Light’s color and material packages, while the boot inspired finish on the trail-running classic features premium Horween leather and ballistic nylon, and an outsole with New Balance’s ROLLER technology. The Danner Light Pioneer features New Balance’s grey color palette on their classic hiking design, while still maintaining the performance, rugged durability, waterproof protection, and craftsmanship that Danner’s boots are known for. Featuring a leather piece mimicking the heel counter reinforcement on many New Balance sneakers and a speckled Vibram outsole for comfort and durability, these boots will keep your feet dry and comfortable even in extreme situations.
