Global outdoor brand, Columbia Sportswear, just unveiled its Omni-Heat Infinity technology that represents the next generation of thermal-reflective warmth. The new Omni-Heat Infinity is a brand-new gold metallic lining material in a pattern scientifically engineered to optimize warmth and breathability. The technology was inspired by the reflective technology used by NASA and it is optimized to retain body heat in a way that allows jackets to remain exceptionally comfortable and lightweight.
“Omni-Heat Infinity expands upon our best-selling platform of patented technologies and we’re looking forward to showcasing this revolutionary innovation in what will be Columbia’s largest campaign in our 83-year history,” says Joe Boyle, president of the Columbia brand. “The campaign injects Columbia’s signature light-hearted style but makes it clear that there is a new gold standard in warmth.” Columbia’s new patented technology will be available this autumn in more than 60 styles of jackets, and will also be introduced to boots and accessories, marking one of the largest technology launches in the company’s history.
Standout pieces include the Columbia Sportswear Titan Pass Double Wall Hybrid Jacket, which features a multi-layered construction that blocks wind and rain while trapping heat. The Labyrinth Loop Hooded Jacket is a packable piece that features recycled synthetic insulation and a drawcord adjustable hem to seal in the heat. The mountain-ready Aerial Ascender Jacket allows plenty of stretch and mobility. Columbia will also deliver hats and gloves for both men and women featuring the tech.
