Ceer has revealed the first production vehicles from Saudi Arabia’s national automotive brand: the Exobot electric sedan and SUV. Established by the Public Investment Fund in 2022 as a joint venture with Foxconn, Ceer is positioning the two flagships as the opening act in a broader seven-model plan rather than isolated halo concepts.

Both Exobots were designed and engineered for production in Saudi Arabia, with manufacturing planned at King Abdullah Economic City. The sedan and SUV share a dramatic pillarless profile and upward-opening doors, while higher-output versions are reported with three motors producing roughly 838 hp.

The sedan can reach 62 mph in a claimed 2.6 seconds, while the SUV takes 2.9 seconds. An 800-volt electrical architecture supports DC fast charging, and the sedan’s 112-kWh battery is rated for up to 416 miles on the NEDC cycle.

The significance is less about another high-output EV than the industrial program behind it. Ceer is building a domestic supply and manufacturing network while licensing selected vehicle technology from established global partners.

Production is expected to begin in January 2027, with initial deliveries planned for March in Gulf markets. Pricing has not been announced, and no U.S. sales plan has been disclosed.

That makes the Exobot a regional launch for now, but a notable new entrant in the premium EV landscape.
