This release follows in the footsteps of their last collaboration – the Budweiser Copper Lager. Their first venture resulted in a lager with a warm nutty taste accented by notes of caramel rye and vanilla that left fans thirsty for more.
This time, the result is a limited-edition black lager that gets its dark auburn color from being aged in 6-year old Jim Beam Bourbon Barrels. The result is a rich flavor profile that has accents of coffee and chocolate. At 7.1 ABV, Jim Beam gives this black lager a little extra kick all with the smooth finish you expect from Budweiser.
