There’s no argument DC’s Suicide Squad failed to deliver the kind of content most comic book fans were hoping for out of the bad-guys-turned-good movie. However, the movie did mark the very first cinematic depiction of Harley Quinn, the character created and made famous by The Batman Animated Series from the early 1990s. Now, Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn looks to put the Joker’s former sidekick front and center along with a collection of other famous bad gals from the streets of Gotham. Huntress and Black Canary are just a couple of characters fans can look forward to seeing appear in the film. Ewan McGregor also stars as Black Mask.
With the Birds of Prey Official Trailer, audiences are now seeing the first full-length trailer of the movie, which centers around Harley Quinn as she tries to navigate life without The Joker. The film is set for a February 7, 2020 release.
