Bigscreen recently introduced the “world’s smallest VR headset,” featuring new OLED displays and pancake optics that provide stunning immersion. The Bigscreen Beyond VR Headset is custom-built for the user’s face. Bigscreen says this headset is six times lighter than VR headsets on the market, weighing only 28 grams, with evenly distributed weight across the cheeks, eyebrows, and nose. The Beyond VR Headset even boasts prescription lens inserts and up to -10.00 astigmatism support, enabling clearer vision and preventing eye strain. Bigscreen designed its next-generation three-element lens from plastic polymers, glass, and films, with coatings to produce a smaller, lighter form and greater optical clarity than single-element Fresnel lenses.

Not only that, but the company also included stereo microphones for clear, precise sound. Additionally, this VR headset provides a USB-C accessory port, allowing seamless third-party integration. Of course, the experience would only be complete with Bigscreen’s ultra-high-resolution OLED micro-displays. Users get stunning colors, and deep blacks, with razor-sharp clarity and detail.

The Bigscreen Beyond VR Headset is also easy to clean by handwashing with dish soap. And users can share it with friends by ordering a custom-fit cushion that snaps on, using embedded frame magnets. Bigscreen says users need an Apple iPhone XR or newer model to grab a 3D Face Scan. Also, fulfillment times and shipment dates vary because the company custom builds each Bigscreen Beyond VR Headset, which will run $999.
