With a name inspired by the Coppa Intereuropa — an Italian Grand Prix support race — the Autodromo Intereuropa Copperstate 1000 Edition timepiece is now available to Autodromo collectors. Originally limited to only participants in the 2020 30th anniversary Copperstate 1000, the special “copper dial” edition of the Intereuropa piece is now available to 95 collectors thanks to cooperation from event organizers. The design of the 39mm Autodromo Intereuropa Copperstate pays homage to custom-built sporting berlinettas, like the Lancia, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Ferrari. These berlinettas were simultaneously competitive on the racetrack and elegant on the roadway. It is the existence of both elegance and sporting form that is the inspiration for this unique watch.
The Swiss Made ETA 7001 manual wind movement is situated beneath a multi-layered dial featuring a K1 glass chapter ring, with 3D numbering that draws inspiration from 1950s automobile gauges. Each timepiece is set on a Saffiano leather rally strap, hand-crafted in Italy. To finish off the design effect, the timepiece comes in a lacquered polished wood presentation box, which is adorned with a cloisonné badge. The badge is inspired by racing club badges of the 1950s that featured steering-wheel-shaped designs. Finally, the Autodromo Intereuropa Copperstate 1000 Edition comes with a 1957 Coppa Intereuropa collectible poster.
