If you haven’t heard, Aston Martin is returning to Formula 1, and it’s making a grand entrance. Recently, the Vantage became the official safety car of Formula 1. Such a prestigious honor deserves to be celebrated, and what better way than with a new Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition supercar. The F1 Edition is a slightly more powerful version of the standard Aston Martin Vantage featuring 21-inch wheels, motorsport-inspired graphics, and a unique body kit.
The F1 Edition gives the Aston Martin Vantage 4.0-liter V8 a power bump to produce 527 horsepower and 505 lb.-ft of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission is tuned to deliver quicker shifts at speed, and its unique aero body kit adds 440-pounds of downforce over the standard model. The Aston Martin Vantage can reach 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 195 mph. The Vantage F1 Edition’s interior is also tailored to immerse the driver in a racer’s state-of-mind with absolute focus and control. Customers can pre-order their Aston Martin F1 Edition right now before they hit showrooms in summer 2021. It will be available in a coupe or roadster configuration and will be offered in three colors: Aston Martin Racing Green, Jet Black, and Lunar White.
