Racing fans, the Amalgam Max Verstappens 2021 World Championship Winning Car will soon be available at a 1:18 scale. One of Amalgam’s founding partners, Sandy Copeman, says the company has been collaborating with Red Bull Racing for 15 years, beginning with the RB3 cars. This year, Amalgam Collection is excited about the opportunity to commemorate Max Verstappen’s return to Zandvoort as a Formula 1 World Champion.

The Amalgam Collection are makers of the finest large-scale models worldwide, and this most recent project, the Red Bull Racing Honda RB16B, at 1:18 scale, is another win. The Bristol-based company works with skilled artisans to capture every detail precisely. The Amalgam Max Verstappens 2021 World Championship Winning Car at 1:18 scale perfectly recreates the RB16B’s aerodynamics and distinctive Red Bull Racing trademark.

Amalgam says its engineers developed each component using data from the actual car and 3D printing to ensure all fine details accurately reflect an 8th of the car’s size. The company says that the artisans created small batches and finished each component by hand. Amalgam Collection says the next project will be Sergio Pérez at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at 1:18 scale. They’re waiting for the final approval from Red Bull Racing and plan to have the first shipment ready before the year’s end.
