Amalgam Collections has announced its latest car model based on the new 2021 Ferrari Roma. This new model will be offered in either 1:8 or 1:12 scale as an option for customers who order the actual car. In addition, the Amalgam Collections Ferrari Roma will be available exclusively at Ferrari dealerships. Like its full-size counterpart, the scale model Ferrari Roma is assembled by a small team of dedicated craftsmen using the finest quality materials. According to Amalgam Collections, each model requires over 2,000 hours of development using original CAD designs from Ferrari and 200 hours to build.
This new car model is only the latest in a long-standing cooperation between Ferrari and Amalgam Collections has had since 1998. Offering these new models at Ferrari dealerships is a further extension of the collaboration between the two brands. Meanwhile, the 2021 Ferrari Roma debuted using the same 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 featured in the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. This engine produces 612-hp and 561 lb.-ft of torque mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. That is a whole lot of power to move the 2+2 seater Roma, which has an estimated curb weight of 3,600 pounds. As a result, the 2021 Ferrari Roma can hit 60 mph in 3.1-seconds and onward to a top speed of 199 mph.
