The Air Jordan V is one of the most beloved editions of the gold standard of sneaker labels. Just like Mike, Nike looks to bring that classic out of retirement with the Air Jordan Summer 2020 Collection Nike. A perfect combination of heritage met with contemporary styling defines the new look of this redux. That’s not all this collection brings to the table though. While the reimagined Air Jordan V editions will celebrate the shoe design’s 30th anniversary, other entries in the collection include new colorways of the Air Jordan XI and the return of the XIII Flint.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 30 years since the initial release of the Jordan V that scorched the sneaker scene with its Fire Red colorway. The 2020 release will include the same rubber outsole, tongue, and red Jumpman branding as the original. New looks to the 30th anniversary will feature Grape and Metallic colorways along with the OG Fire Red. The collection will also breathe new life into the Air Jordan VII Retro, as well as the Air Jordan IV Retro and Jordan I HI OG Retro.
