adidas, Sean Wotherspoon, and Hot Wheels just introduced the adidas x Sean Wotherspoon x Hot Wheels Collection. This time around, Wotherspoon combines his love for automotive memorabilia and inspired apparel and footwear to bring Hot Wheels and adidas together in a bold graphic collection. The collection includes apparel and accessories, an updated Superturf Adventure shoe featuring detachable patches, and a reimagined take on the adidas classic Adilette slider. The sneaker boasts a retro look with rope laces, a white mesh underlay, and synthetic white leather. Baby blue, pastel pink, and purple reference the adidas’ iconography, highlighted with a yellow, a blue tongue, and a red and white zipper.
The Hot Wheels slogan and adidas branding complete the look. A cotton t-shirt, long-sleeve mesh tee, trail shorts, race jacket, reversible tote, and a bucket hat round out the collection. According to the company, Sean Wotherspoon is one of adidas’ most prolific creative partners. His knowledge of vintage memorabilia and classic sportswear has inspired sell-out releases of his take on sneakers and apparel. Additionally, his dedication to limiting environmental impact often features releases with repurposed and plant-based materials. adidas Originals is a lifestyle brand that continues to evolve through product innovation and creativity. The adidas x Sean Wotherspoon x Hot Wheels Collection will be available at adidas.com and select retailers on August 25th.
