Aston Martin has unveiled the final V12 Vantage. The mere idea of the lightest Aston Martin fitted with the largest engine is enough to stir the imagination into a fuel-injected frenzy. When Aston Martin confirmed the last generation of the V12 Vantage was to be built-in a limited-production, they sold out in record time. After you read the car’s stats, it’ll be easy to understand why the 2023 Aston Martin V12 Vantage is a hotcake on wheels.
The 2023 Aston Martin V12 Vantage features a 5.2-liter V12 inhaling through a pair of turbochargers to produce 690-hp and 555 lb.-ft of torque. With this much power, the V12 Vantage can reach 60mph in 3.4-seconds and a top speed of 200 mph. Managing the pace is a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission tuned for “enhanced shift speed and driver interaction,” according to Aston Martin. Its outstanding performance is partially credited to its weight-saving construction and advanced aerodynamics. The new Vantage’s exterior panels are mostly made out of carbon fiber. In addition, the car uses a lightweight battery and a center-mounted twin-exit exhaust system. Moreover, its aerodynamic package produces 450 pounds of downforce.
Aston Martin claims it has stiffened the V12 Vantage’s body by eight percent. It also features new steering calibration for a razor-sharp response. Stopping power is delivered via a carbon-ceramic braking system, which also helps save weight. In addition, its design has been enhanced for the 2023 model year. It shows a new front bumper and a “horseshoe” engine vent on the hood.
As mentioned, only 333 examples of the 2023 Aston Martin V12 Vantage will be built. However, buyers will have the option to personalize their Vantage through Aston Martin’s Q division. These fortunate buyers can expect deliveries to begin by summer 2022.
