Rolex unveiled the 2022 Rolex New Models at Watches and Wonders this week. The six timepieces in this collection are the same symbols of excellence, elegance, and prestige that Rolex is known for throughout the world. The Oyster Perpetual Air-King features an easier-to-read dial and redesigned case, with a crown guard and straight sides, while the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II features a Cerachrom bezel insert in green and black. Like the original Day-Date, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40 epitomizes Rolex prestige and innovation. This latest version is platinum, with a fluted platinum bezel.
Additionally, 2022 is the first time the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 is an option in yellow gold. The Yacht-Master 42 is cast at the Rolex foundry in Geneva, Switzerland, in an 18-carat gold alloy and features an Oysterflex bracelet. Similarly, Rolex released the new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 in three finishes, including matte, sunray, and grained. What’s more, the floral motif is available in three colors, including olive green, Azzurro blue, and silver. Rolex also adds different-sized diamonds reminiscent of dewdrops in the flowers’ centers. Finally, the new Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 40 boasts a bezel inspired by the aurora borealis set with diamonds and sapphires in silver, pink, and blue.
