Roger Dubuis is not shy about innovative watch design, and the brand brings two new unique timepieces to the Watches & Wonders 2022 fair in Geneva. The Roger Dubuis EXCALIBUR KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE MT/X and the Roger Dubuis EXCALIBUR MONOBALANCIER were revealed to collectors at this year’s show. Continuing a long line of tradition, the EXCALIBUR KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE MT/X timepiece is set to astonish and amaze watch collectors and fantasy fanatics alike. Starting in 2015 with the original Knights of the Round Table watch, Rober Dubuis sets the bar high with each sequential release of this well-loved and highly-detailed timepiece. The manual-wind caliber RD115 inside is the very first central tourbillon movement created by Roger Dubuis.
This new watch features individually sculpted knights around the face of the watch, marking the hours with a central tourbillon in the middle of the “table.” Each figure has exquisite detail, is made of sculpted pink gold, and measures just 6.5mm tall. The figures represent the 12 heroes tasked with the quest to find the Holy Grail. The EXCALIBUR KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE MT/X watch also features a pink gold 45mm case with sapphire crystal, automatic caliber, and a 3D calf leather strap, interchangeable with a Quick Release System.
The second new release, the Roger Dubuis EXCALIBUR MONOBALANCIER is a technically advanced watch and will excite those with its clean-cut lines and beautiful coloration. It offers a new-and-improved self-winding caliber to the company’s flagship Excalibur collection. The 42mm watch features a sophisticated fluted bezel and the signature star-shaped bridge of the Maison. The EXCALIBUR MONOBALANCIER is available with an EON GOLD case and EON GOLD bezel set with round diamonds, finished with a purple 3D calf leather strap or without the diamonds, finished with a black 3D calf leather strap.
