Some cars are game changers from the get-go. BMW turned heads when it debuted the powerful BMW 2002 Turbo in 1975, and the showroom star is still turning heads with its immaculately restored—in 1991 and in that state ever since—Chamonix White paint job, red instrument panel, and black leatherette sports seats.
BMW’s first production car with a turbocharged engine, only a Porsche Carrera could top its speed and power at the time, and its new features in the 70s included bigger brakes to account for the power and bigger wheels and wheel arch extensions to give it more stability. Today, only 10 of these Turbos are on the road in the UK, and this one comes with a well-documented history as a collector’s darling.
