A new take on a favorite from the early 1990s, the Yema Superman II Dive Watch integrates the original design with a new-and-improved caliber, made in-house. The dial inside the 40mm stainless steel case showcases the same oversized indices that made the original incarnation of this diver watch stand out. Its iconic shovel-style seconds hand is also incorporated into Yema’s re-envisioned version of the Superman II, a design element that hearkens back to the first edition of the watch back released in the 1970s.
While the watch has all the hallmarks of the original Superman II, its sole difference improves upon that initial design. Yema’s MBP1000 movement, made in-house in France, powers the 45-hour power reserve of this timepiece. Studded with 31 rubies, this new calibre maintains a high level of accuracy thanks to adjustments made by watchmakers before each piece is shipped off.
With water-resistance at up to 300 meters, an entirely stainless-steel case and bracelet, as well as that enhanced calibre, the latest dive watch from Yema ushers an old favorite into a new era.
