URWERK, the Swiss luxury watchmaker, has unveiled the UR-102 “Reloaded”, marking the beginning of the adventure and the starting point of the collection. The UR-102 collection was first launched in 1997 at Baselworld, and after a few adjustments to blend in with the times, the new version comes in a boxed set with two versions: one in titanium and the other in signature URWERK black.

This round URWERK watch is unique in design, featuring an hour unit gliding along a semi-circular track. The only focal point of the watch is the hour unit, making it a hands-free timepiece. The watch has grown in size and strength over the last two decades, with its diameter now measuring a respectable 41mm, compared to the 38mm of the original version. The lugs are also larger and are designed to ideally position the “machine” on the wrist.

The strategic move of the crown to 4 o’clock has led to a change in the opening for reading the time, giving it a fresher and more dynamic look. The window is no longer a perfect semi-circle, but wider with sloping edges. The watch features a special-shaped sapphire crystal and is pressure-tested to 3ATM. It is powered by the UR-2.02 caliber and has 25 jewels, a Swiss Lever escapement, and a frequency of 4 Hz; 28,800 vph. The watch has a power reserve of 48 hours and features analog minutes and digital hours satellites.

The UR-102 “Reloaded” is a unique and innovative timepiece that combines modern design with traditional watchmaking techniques. Its elegant design and attention to detail make it a must-have for watch collectors and enthusiasts. URWERK presents a boxed set containing two versions — one in titanium with a white Baltimora strap, the other in signature URWERK black with a matching black Baltimora strap for $61,303. This boxed set was issued as a 25-piece limited edition.
