The 6C 2500 Super Sport Coupé was the first model to come out from Alfa Romeo after World War II, and only 383 were produced. Needless to say, after 71 years, finding a good example is like finding a needle in a haystack. And boy, is this one beautiful car.

One of the fastest cars in its time, this 6C 2500 Super Sport Coupé still has some nice muscle performance tucked into the elongated hood, offering a 2,443 cc double overhead-camshaft incline V6. The split windshield is a unique design feature of the time and the interior isn’t the standard bench seat as was the case for most vehicles of the era. For those who want sophistication and timeless luxury, this 1948 Alfa Romeo would be very, very difficult to beat.
