A new trailer just released by Warner Bros. for The Batman shows Robert Pattison (Batman) and Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman) either teaming up in their search for justice or facing off against one another – it’s difficult to tell which, or is it both? Dubbed The Batman The Bat and The Cat Trailer, the new trailer shows The Riddler, who is determined to bring down the Wayne family — and he’s willing to kill to do it. While it’s not exactly clear why The Riddler is after the Waynes, it will certainly fall to Bruce to find out and stop him. As he continues to grapple with The Riddler and his question-mark-filled messages, Pattinson’s Batman interacts with both Catwoman and her alter ego, Selina Kyle. We hear Catwoman say to Batman, “If we don’t stand up, no one will.” She adds, “The Bat and the Cat, it’s got a nice ring.”
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and written by Reeves and Peter Craig. While he doesn’t have much of a role in this trailer, Colin Farrell will also appear as The Penguin, with Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Andy Serkis as Batman’s trusted butler, Alfred. The Batman will be released in theaters on March 4, 2022, and will stream on HBO Max after its 45-day theatrical run concludes.
