That’s how Tim Cook describes the iPad. What was initially only available in 9.7”, the iPad has shrunk and grown in size over the years with new members added to the iPad family. Today, as expected, Apple introduced the iPad Pro with a 9.7” retina display.
The new 9.7″ iPad Pro model upgrades the current iPad Air 2 with new features, such as True Tone Display that measures the color temperature of your ambient light and adjusts the display’s color temperature to match. With speakers on all four corners of the device, we can expect the iPad to pack an impressive sound, while the A9X chip with the integrated M9 motion processor will make the new iPad Pro the fastest iOS device to date. The camera has also been upgraded for iPad photographers, along with a 5MP FaceTime HD camera and retina flash for selfies, but please don’t use your iPad for selfies.
With four available colors, including rose gold for the first time, the new iPad Pro will be available at $599 and $749 for the 32GB and 128GB versions, and will also offer a 256GB variant for $899, starting March 31.
