To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Carrera, the motorsport goliath has paired with Tag Heuer to create an iconic duo of limited-edition timepieces. The Tag Heuer x Porsche 911 Carrera RS watches are made with precision detailing and trademark styling, combining the excitement of Porsche racing with the dependability of Tag Heuer.
Designed to capture the spirit of racing, the pair of limited edition chronographs are available in blue and red in honor of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Both watches feature the Tag Heuer Calibre Heuer 02 automatic movement. The watches have an 80-hour power reserve and are water-resistant to 100 meters.
The limited edition blue-styled Tag Heuer x Porsche 911 Carrera RS watch has either a “Carrera” textile strap featuring the Porsche logo or an additional steel bracelet with H-shaped links creating an ergonomic fit. An authorized Tag Heuer retailer can easily change the bracelets. Between the playful strap, detailed dial, and case, the blue Tag Heuer x Porsche 911 Carrera RS pays homage to Porsche with its small but essential detailing.
Comparatively, the red version of the Tag Heuer x Porsche 911 Carrera RS limited edition watch alludes to Porsche’s precision engineering. The open-case back features a steering wheel-inspired oscillating weight. The dial represents the initial 1972 launch of the 911 car, while the red alligator leather strap recalls the bold Porsche color designs.
The red version of the Carrera RS watch will be available beginning on October 10. The watch is priced at $23,550. The second limited edition Tag Heuer x Porsche watch, available in blue, will begin delivery on October 24. The blue watch is priced at $7,750. Both watches include a complimentary travel pouch that helps protect and accentuate these beautiful timepieces.
