In collaboration with Zieba New York, based out of Brooklyn, Shinola has released the MS3 Manhattan Pocket Knife. The sleek looking piece of kit features an M390 stainless steel blade concealed in a strong custom grey titanium body accented by blue anodized parts. The knife operates with an elegant fluid motion in its titanium construction for effortless work.
The project builds on Michael Zieba’s proprietary knife making skills honed in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Much like Shinola’s reputation as a solid, homegrown, American brand, Zieba has a long history of custom knife making and high-end metal work. Each Zieba knife is made by hand and has created so many waves in the industry that the company was named Best new Maker in the 2016 Blade Show Award.
