Huckberry has added a newest addition to their hiking boots collection with the Salewa MS WILDFIRE EDGE MID GTX. These hiking shoes recently got technical upgrades for precision climbing. Salewa is a brand that shares the same values as the folks at Huckberry, with an adventurous spirit to experience the natural world. The Salewa MS WILDFIRE EDGE embodies that spirit with a design that can switch between horizontal and vertical travel to walk, hike, or climb comfortably. The Salewa Switchfit system easily adapts the shoe’s fit from hiking to climbing by tightening the laces to pull the foot into the toe box. After climbing, it is easy to set the laces back to their original position for a wider toe box.
Salewa added an Edging Plate to the boot for enhanced directional stiffness, allowing the rest of the insole to remain flexible and responsive. What’s more, the 11 mm drop is ideal for fast mountain approaches and offers a superior grip for traversing. The Salewa MS WILDFIRE EDGE MID GTX Exa Shell also provides improved stability, support, flexibility, and fit with enhanced torsional stability that works together with the 3F System. At the same time, GORE-TEX Extended Comfort offers waterproof and breathable durability while hiking. The inside volume is customizable, and the Pomoca butyl compound rubber provides a better grip.
