Rolex rarely lets a one-off watch into public view; putting four unique Daytonas under the hammer at once makes restraint beside the point. The Rolex Four Seasons quartet turns the Cosmograph Daytona into a study in natural stone and gem setting, with one unique watch assigned to each season.

Spring uses an 18 ct white-gold case, a chrysoprase dial, lepidolite counters, and purple sapphires. Summer pairs Everose gold with turquoise, heart-of-ruby counters, and pink sapphires. Autumn combines yellow gold, mookaite, chrysoprase, and green tourmalines, while Winter places blue opal and lapis lazuli inside a 950 platinum case beneath a blue-to-fuchsia sapphire bezel.

Each watch sets 54 brilliant-cut diamonds—approximately 0.86 carats—across the lugs and crown guards. The colored-gem bezels add roughly 4.32 to 5.57 carats, depending on the season, and baguette- or square-cut stones replace conventional hour markers. The result is far removed from the material restraint of the recent Rolesium Daytona, but the disciplined seasonal palettes keep the excess coherent.
Phillips will auction the four watches in London on September 28, 2026. All proceeds benefit the Federer Foundation and Re:wild. Rolex has not published estimates or bidding details, and the quartet is not a retail release.
