Some may be tempted to call the “Atelier” at the Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim a factory. But that would be like equating a fast food restaurant to a Michelin Star rated restaurant, just because they both servce food.

The Bugatti “Atelier” is the result of an ambitious attempt at creating a shrine to craft the most perfect car that the world has ever seen — to justify calling it the world’s best car. First came the Veyron, a 1,000-hp car that shattered all records when supercars were content with half that power figure. Now it’s the home to Bugatti’s latest — the Chiron.

The Chiron first appeared last year at the Geneva Motor Show. Despite its public appearance, it has taken almost a year for the first Chirons to leave it’s home in Molsheim to be delivered into the hands of its eagerly awaiting owners.

Showcasing how each Chiron gets built in the almost clinical space that is the “Atelier,” the video above follows the first three Chirons getting built and prepped for its new owners. Not only is the breathtaking beauty of the Chiron a sight to behold — something that couldn’t have been said of its predecessor — the astonishing attention to detail in its assembly is even more impressive.

Now that this record-breaking machine has been delivered to its owners, we can’t wait to see it gracing the streets for us mere mortals to gaze upon its presence.
