If you’re an avid runner, you owe it to yourself to check out the new collection by Reigning Champ and Asics. It’s a collaboration project between the two companies as they come together to craft four different collections inspired by four different cities: Kyoto, Vancouver, Paris, and Tokyo.
Inspired by the historical city of Kyoto, the first collection utilizes the unique weathered wood pattern and weaving techniques based on traditional Japanese textile production. The collection features a light jacket, running shorts, track jacket, track pants, and two kinds of running shoes.
The Kyoto Edition will be available online stores and select retailers on June 15th. Reigning Champ and Asics will be releasing three more collections in the coming months leading up to the 2020 Japanese Olympics.
