RADO’s Anatom Automatic watch is back with a refreshed design that reflects the Swiss watchmaker’s rich history while embracing modern sophistication. Known for its iconic angular “bracelet-style” case, the Anatom has been a staple of the brand for decades, and in 2024, Rado reintroduced it with exciting updates. The new version features stunning gradient dials in shades of blue, green, or cognac, which fade to a deep black at the edges. Additionally,  RADO now offers a bracelet option for the case, replacing the previous black rubber strap.

The updated Anatom retains its 32.5mm case size, slightly larger than its 1980s predecessors but still modest in design. The distinctive sapphire crystal over the dial, a technique RADO pioneered in the 1980s, further enhances the watch’s futuristic appeal. Inside, the Swiss automatic movement—ETA’s R766—provides a 72-hour power reserve, visible through a sapphire window on the case’s rear. The movement, derived from the legacy ETA 2892-A2, offers a slightly reduced frequency of 3.5Hz to extend the power reserve while maintaining Swiss precision.

With a 50-meter water resistance and a clean, legible design featuring luminous rhodium hands and a discreet date window, the RADO Anatom Automatic is a modern masterpiece that blends style and function for the discerning watch enthusiast.
