Twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, international relief humanitarian organization Wings of Hope uses aviation to bring medical support to remote and vulnerable communities. Now, Swiss watchmaker Oris SA’s “Change for the Better” program has partnered with Wings of Hope to help build awareness with the Oris Wings of Hope Limited Edition and Limited Edition Gold.
The Oris Wings of Hope Limited Edition and Gold Limited Edition watches are both based on Oris’s Big Crown pilot’s watch as noted by legibility, ruggedness, and functionality. It is powered by the Oris Calibre 401 automatic movement engine with a five-day power reserve, high levels of anti-magnetism, ten-year recommended service intervals and a ten-year warranty with the creation of a MyOris account.
“What impresses me most about Oris is its commitment to making the world a better place. Our brand identity is very important to us, and working with such a highly respected brand that is so perfectly aligned with our mission is a very special gift to us and hopefully to the world,” said Wings of Hope President and CEO Bret Heinrich.
There will be 1,000 stainless 40mm steel pieces and 100 18-carat gold 38mm pieces available. Both come on Cervo Volante sustainable deer leather straps. The watches will be available in October with reservations being taken now.
