OMF Car Craft’s latest restomod starts with a familiar shape and proceeds to dismantle nearly everything underneath it. The Carbon Fiber Classic Bronco — nicknamed the “Classic Raptor” — retains the upright proportions and compact stance of the original first-generation Ford Bronco, but replaces its steel bodywork with a full carbon-fiber shell.

Every exterior panel, from the roof to the fenders, is molded from composite material, giving the truck a sharper, more architectural presence while trimming considerable weight from the equation.

Power comes from a Ford Performance 5.0-liter Coyote V8 tuned to produce 825 horsepower, a figure that moves this build well beyond nostalgic cruiser territory. Buyers can pair the engine with either a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic, depending on whether the priority is mechanical involvement or long-distance composure.

Beneath the retro silhouette sits a thoroughly modern platform, including a custom chassis, four-link rear suspension, and a Raptor-width track designed to improve high-speed stability off-road without visually overwhelming the Bronco’s original proportions.

The cabin follows a similar philosophy. Leather upholstery, climate control, and digital instrumentation modernize the experience, but the upright dashboard and restrained layout avoid turning the truck into a rolling touchscreen. The result feels more considered than theatrical.

OMF plans to build the Carbon Fiber Classic Bronco in extremely limited numbers, with production slots currently open for 2026 and 2027. Pricing remains undisclosed, though the combination of bespoke carbon construction, supercharged output, and low-volume production firmly places it in modern collector territory.
