OMEGA and Swatch continue their space-inspired storytelling with the Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold, launching exclusively on August 9, 2025—timed to coincide with the Sturgeon full moon. Priced at $380, this timepiece builds on the popular MoonSwatch series but takes a celestial leap with unique lunar and Earth-themed design elements.
This chronograph is wrapped in navy Bioceramic from case to pushers, paired with a matching rubber strap and Bioceramic loop for an unmistakably futuristic silhouette. The white opaline dial comes to life with Grade A Super-LumiNova®, glowing green in the dark for high-contrast readability. At 10 o’clock, an Earth phase indicator glows blue under UV light, revealing a hidden Snoopy and Woodstock marveling at the planet from the Moon—complete with a UV-activated message.
A dual moon phase indicator at 2 o’clock steals the show, showcasing one moon in OMEGA’s proprietary Moonshine™ Gold and the other featuring a netted texture in homage to the origins of the Sturgeon Moon. A subtle Snoopy motif makes it delightfully playful while staying true to the legacy of the Speedmaster.
The case measures 42mm with a lug-to-lug of 47.3mm and a thickness of 13.75mm—sized for impact without overwhelming the wrist. True to the collection, the watch includes the Speedmaster and MoonSwatch logos, box-shaped biosourced glass, and recessed subdials.
