As half of the legendary pop and “blue-eyed soul” duo Hall and Oates, John Oates has topped the Billboard charts six times and earned a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. However, unless you attended his private concert and intimate party at Atlanta’s Porsche Experience Center last October, you may not realize that Oates is also a passionate Porsche aficionado.
In addition to treating his guests to some of his beloved hits at his October event, Oates wowed them with the debut of his one-of-a-kind 1960 Porsche 356. This exceptional automobile is the result of a collaboration between Oates himself and the custom street build company Emory Motorsports.
While retaining the essential proportions and design logic of the iconic 1960 Porsche 356, the Oates Emory Special 356 incorporates key alterations such as a streamlined roof profile and a leaned-back nose for a sleeker appearance.
