The Swedish audio system brand Nocs Lab has led the field in innovation, again breaking new ground with its new high-end speaker, representing an upgrade to its flagship Monolith speaker. The Nocs Lab MONOLITH x ALUMINUM Speaker is an eye-catching addition to its repertoire of gear destined to wow audiophiles with its precision engineering and stunning sound reproduction.
Formed from a single, CNC-cut block of aluminum, sand-blasted and anodized into shape, the Nocs Lab MONOLITH x ALUMINUM Speaker completely avoids using plastics for a minimalist approach to design. In the words of Nocs Lab, the speaker “embodies a harmonious blend of minimalist design, audio excellence, and environmental responsibility.”
Unlike the larger Monolith speaker, which features its five drivers assembled in the front, the Nocs Lab MONOLITH x ALUMINUM Speaker takes a more discreet approach by concealing them inside the casing. Its ultra-compact form belies a superior sound quality reflective of the price tag, with some seriously impressive specs.
Nocs Lab has worked with high-end DJs and producers to create a vibrant listening experience with a smooth frequency response from 39 Hz to 23 kHz through the closed-loop class-D amplifier that puts out 225 watts of wireless stereo. It’s also capable of multi-room playback when paired with up to eight Monoliths for a complete audio experience around the home.
The $1,000 Nocs Lab MONOLITH x ALUMINUM Speaker, available in striking silver or a matte black finish, is available for pre-order and will be released to consumers in November 2024.
