It’s been 20 years since Nike and Stüssy released their first collaboration: the Huaraches. Since then, the streetwear company that became the first of its kind to work with the sneaker behemoth released other collaborations scattered throughout the years. In celebration of two decades of working together, the latest Nike x Stüssy Collaboration combines elements from the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 and Nike Air Zoom Kukini into one sneaker that adeptly represents the union of each brand’s style. In doing so, Stüssy brings its casual streetwear vibe to the technical design of the Air Zoom Spiridon Kukini.
In addition to the sneaker, the duo will also unveil apparel from each brand set for a July 30th release. Stüssy will add a bucket hat, slide-on sandals, beach pants, and beach shorts to the collection. Nike will contribute black and white tees, along with a new expression of its classic Windrunner jacket. Each piece of apparel is tailored for the athletic performance Nike is known for while having the versatile styling that sets the trend whether you’re out on the beach watching waves or walking down the strip catching some sun.
