Two fashion icons recently joined forces on a pair of sneakers with enough technology to conquer any hike. The legendary brand in high-end Italian fashion paired up with American sneaker designer Salehe Bembury for an eye-catching and ultra-functional pair of trail shoes. The Moncler x Salehe Bembury Trailgrip Grain is waterproof, extra grippy, protective, and loaded with high-tech features.
Stand-out elements of the shoe include its resistant nylon upper with waterproof Gore-Tex elements, able to protect hikers from water, mud, debris, and sharp objects. The shoe’s mesh lining includes a waterproof membrane for even more protection, keeping feet dry and comfortable from the first steps to the last.
The EVA midsole is light and flexible, offering a soft underfoot comfort that protects the feet and joints from impact. An OrthoLite® insole adds to the shoe’s cushioning and breathability while helping prevent moisture and unwanted odors. Vibram MEGAGRIP traction on the shoe’s sole prevents slipping on wet or unstable terrain. The Moncler x Salehe Bembury Trailgrip Grain also harnesses the latest running and trail shoe propulsion technology with a layer of carbon fiber between the tread and midsole.
The tall, 4.5cm sole height, three nature-inspired colorways, and fingerprint stitching add to the shoe’s attention-grabbing, utilitarian look. The Moncler x Salehe Bembury Trailgrip Grain is available now on the Moncler website.
