Apart from looking like a gigantic idiot and despite the aviator-like design, the MINI Augmented Vision is a concept that seems truly useful in today’s connected world. It is a clever concept, connecting you with your car and providing many insightful information that will not only make the world around you a more interactive experience but also a safer one as you can see from the x-ray vision in the video above. We have to hand it to MINI for attempting to make the Google Glass-like device more mainstream, but it is still light years from anything that could possibly be wearable out in public without feeling self conscious. Maybe if the production version had a block all obscene gestures and finger pointing function.
