The executive off-road capable wagon segment is experiencing a renaissance, spearheaded by the new Volvo V90 Cross Country. Not to be outdone, Mercedes-Benz introduces their take on the quasi-SUV/executive wagon with the new E-Class All Terrain.
The new E-Class All Terrain distinguishes itself from the regular E-Class with more aggressive plastic body claddings that demonstrates it’s off-road credentials. It’s equipped with standard 4Matic all-wheel drive and increased ground clearance thanks to the AIR BODY CONTROL multi-chamber air suspension, making this E-Class All Terrain a flexible all rounder, no matter what type of terrain you’re on. While the jacked up wagon’s 19-inch wheels may seem inappropriate for purpose of the vehicle, it’s equipped with higher-sided tires to aid with the vehicle’s off-road capabilities. Inside, the E-Class’ sumptuous and avant-garde interior will cosset its occupants, no matter what the road situation may be. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All Terrain will be officially unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in October.
