MAAP Advanced_Optics marks the Australian cycling brand’s move into performance eyewear, expanding its design language beyond jerseys, bibs, and outerwear. The debut collection includes four silhouettes: three built for riding and one designed for life off the bike.

HALO is the range’s speed-focused model, using a rimless frame and sweeping curved lens for wide visibility at race pace. It is built from TR90 with polycarbonate lenses, weighs 21.8g, and comes with interchangeable Silver Mirror and Yellow lens options.

ORACLE takes a semi-rimless shield approach with an adaptive grip system, two high-contrast lens choices, and a 23.9g weight. FUSE is the more protective full-wrap option, pairing a translucent smoke-grey TR90 frame with a 15% VLT lens for riders moving between open roads, gravel, and changing light. It weighs 23.3g.

The outlier is GERSON, a lifestyle frame made for travel, recovery days, and post-ride wear. Instead of a technical TR90 build, it uses lightweight acetate in a Green Tortoise finish with 100% UV-protective lenses. At 35.6g, it is heavier than the on-bike models but still built around all-day wearability.
Across the performance models, MAAP uses high-contrast polycarbonate lenses, hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings, anti-fog treatment, TPE grips, and 100% UV protection.
The collection is available now through MAAP, MAAP LaB stores, and select retailers, with U.S. pricing set at $250 for HALO, $230 for ORACLE, $210 for FUSE, and $180 for GERSON.
