After teasing us at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Netflix finally has released the official trailer for their upcoming series, Luke Cage. The series will expand on Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and follow up on the super hero that we’ve seen in Jessica Jones.
The action packed trailer shows Luke Cage fighting crime on the streets of New York, overcoming his reluctance to embrace his super powers. It also gives us a better idea of who the villain is and how it may affect Cage to become the super hero he is destined to become. The entirety of the first season will drop on September 30 on Netflix.
