J. Crew recently added the Limited-edition Barbour x J.Crew Bedale Jacket to the Brands We Love collection. Bedale is an England-based company established in 1984. J.Crew says Bedale, Barbour’s first-ever lightweight jacket, was a shorter cut because it was specifically designed for riding. However, this exclusive collaboration features a nautical take on the classic Bedale. The J.Crew Limited-edition Barbour X J.Crew Bedale jacket finds its inspiration in sailing traditions. To that end, it boasts a lightweight, water-resistant waxed cotton, front zipper with snap button closures, a snap-button throat latch, Bedale’s classic corduroy collar, welt chest pockets, lower patch, flap snap-closure pockets, double back vents with snap closures, and a handwarmer.
This jacket also provides a relaxed fit, offering plenty of freedom to move around. Additionally, in celebration of the collaboration, J. Crew designed the limited-edition Bedale with a removable custom Barbour x J. Crew sailboat lapel pin in enamel. Plus, there’s custom co-branding on the jacket’s woven label on the center back at the neck. The J.Crew Limited-edition Barbour x J.Crew Bedale jacket comes in two modern colorways. First, dark navy features rich cobalt blue horizontal stripes across the chest, back, and arms. The Barbour x J.Crew’s Bedale jacket also comes in scarlet red with navy detailing on the lapel and thick horizontal navy stripes across the back, chest, and arms. The jacket runs $520 and can be ordered on the J.Crew website.
