With many of us relying on our devices like smartphones to wake up in the morning and tell time throughout the day, clocks are somewhat of a dying breed. However, the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 is offering more than mere time-telling. This innovative product features a four-inch touchscreen, smart speaker, and optional charging dock accessory that allows users to charge compatible devices either traditionally via a USB-A port or cordlessly. This means that although by definition this is a clock, it is less “clocky” and more high-tech than most similar products, making it relevant and desirable by today’s standards.
The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 comes in three colorway options, Heather Gray, Abyss Blue, and Shadow Black, and is wrapped in classic fabric save for its digital LCD IPS touch panel. It can also serve as a nightlight when paired with the optional charging dock. The product’s 1.5inch 3W front-facing speakers are powerful enough to fill a room with acoustics while being diminutive enough to fit nicely on a bedside nightstand. The clock can pick up commands easily thanks to its far-field microphone. It also effortlessly supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 will be available in September and will replace the original Smart Clock from Lenovo.
