The Star Wars universe is one that is ripe with futuristic vehicles that have captured the imagination of science-fiction enthusiasts since 1977 – and, for almost as long, LEGO has been dedicated to bringing these vehicles to life as faithful replications that are just as fun to build as they are to display. One of the latest additions in the LEGO Star Wars collection is the LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker Landspeeder. First seen in Star Wars: A New Hope, the Landspeeder was Luke Skywalker’s vehicle of choice for navigating the harsh deserts of Tatooine. The Star Wars Luke Skywalker Landspeeder, meanwhile, is an 1890-piece set that comes complete with Luke Skywalker and C-3PO figurines as well as a display base that includes details on the Landspeeder’s specs.
LEGO’s Star Wars Luke Skywalker Landspeeder also features incredible attention to detail, with a specially molded windscreen for the cockpit, random scrap parts, and a missing port turbine cover just like the Landspeeder from the film. The Luke Skywalker Landspeeder is scheduled for release on May 4, 2022 – known to fans of the films as “Star Wars Day” – and anyone who is both a Star Wars and LEGO enthusiast is sure to find plenty to enjoy about this exciting new set.
