The first-ever Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck LEGO set is on the way, releasing on May 1st. Featuring 1,222 pieces in all, this new kit is the result of a collaboration between LEGO and Guerrilla Games. Horizon Forbidden West launches on February 18th for PlayStation 4 and 5. The LEGO kit looks to take everything that players love about the world of Horizon and allows them to build it themselves, brick by brick.

One of the most recognizable machines in the world of Horizon Forbidden West is the tallneck: a large robotic dinosaur-like construction that roams the wilderness of the former United States. With a disc-shaped head and long, slim legs, the tallnecks can be spotted from far away and can be climbed to survey the local area in the game. This new LEGO model includes a display stand with foliage and a rusty stoplight, plus, a minifigure of the main character, Aloy. There is also another robotic creature known as a “watcher” with a choice of blue, yellow, or red eyes that can be switched out.

LEGO has been releasing a lot of gaming-themed sets lately. It has so far launched extensive ranges based around Mario and Minecraft, and last year revealed a Sonic the Hedgehog set. The Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck now joins this group. The set includes a booklet featuring step-by-step building instructions, plus the inside story of how LEGO designers created the model. The buildable Horizon Tallneck model measures over 13-inches high, 9-inches wide, and 6.5-inches deep.
