In 2001, the first-ever Jetboil compact stove for backcountry cooking was invented by Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst, founders of Jetboil. Since then, the company has invented technologies that continue to redefine the industry. The company’s Genesis Basecamp System boasts a compact dual-burner design that functions as a standalone stove. A JetLink output port allows additional stoves to be daisy-chained together to create the ultimate camp chef stove. For any adventure—from an alpine expedition to a weekend trek—the Genesis Basecamp System is the ultimate all-in-one backcountry cooking system.

The Genesis Basecamp System includes not just the burner but also a 5-liter Jetboil FluxPot with a strainer lid, as well as a 10-inch ceramic-coated nonstick fry pan, making it easy to prepare delicious food while camping. The system can boil water in just over three minutes thanks to its impressive 10,000 BTU heating system. An included regulator provides consistent heating performance down to 20 degrees, and it even features an attachable windscreen that helps maintain flame stability in breezy conditions.  Weighing in at 9.1 pounds, the basecamp system is compatible with a standard 16.4-ounce propane bottle. The Genesis Basecamp System stows neatly into itself and then fits snugly into the durable and convenient travel bag that has an included pocket for the regulator.
