For many of Workroom’s regional projects, the contemporary architecture firm has collaborated with the top-notch builders at Agushi Construction, and their latest partnership is a multimillion dollar home that is highly personal in nature.
Located in the pleasant Melbourne suburb of Armadale, Huntingtower is the Workroom-designed residence of Agushi’s founding director Bear Agushi. The structure allows Mr. Agushi and his family ample private spaces while retaining a decidedly open and free-flowing feel. At its heart stands a folded plate steel staircase that doubles as a stunning art object.
A cleanly designed three-story box that cantilevers over glass rooms, Huntingtower has some truly dramatic curb appeal. In the back, it hides carefully-curated sunken gardens and a resort-style alfresco zone complete with a pool and an outdoor kitchen.
