The Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross is unlike any watch enthusiasts have seen. The hexagon shape of the watch’s case is likely the first feature to turn heads. Looking deeper, this watch is full of unique design elements, as is expected from an iconic creative director like Ross. Titanium honeycomb mesh covers the strap, case back, and sapphire dial.
The hexagon shape repeated in various elements of the watch reflects a major geometric building block in nature, seen in ice crystals, beehive cells, and snowflakes. It is a symbol of strength, efficiency, and a seamless fit. The Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross is a 44mm automatic tourbillion timepiece with a three-day power reserve attributed to the ball bearings. Three sapphire bridges and a micro-rotor on the dial side are highly technical features that add to the timepiece’s avant-garde aesthetic. This limited-edition Big Bang pays homage to the 1980 Hublot timepiece, which combined a rubber strap with an 18K gold case.
