With the release of the 200 piece limited-edition Big Bang e Premier League smartwatch, Hublot adds to its line of sport-specific timepieces with purpose-built apps. In 2018, Hublot unveiled the Big Bang Referee 2018 Fifa World Cup Russia; following this in 2020, the brand created a limited-edition smartwatch for the UEFA Champions League. The Big Bang e Premier League is based on the Big Bang e Smartwatch released last year. With this new iteration, the fabric strap and dial have been dressed in the Premier League’s emblematic purple color, while the satin-finished and polished titanium case has a Premier League motif on its reverse.
This 42mm timepiece runs on the Big Bang e’s Google Wear OS which features an app named the Hublot Loves Football Premier League, that is limited to owners of the timepiece. This engaging app provides wearers with animated notifications and alerts regarding Premier League matches. The app notifies the wearer 15-minutes ahead of kick-off. The display then automatically switches into “match mode” at the whistle to deliver alerts about goals, substitutions, red cards, and VAR decisions. This is truly a dream-come-true timepiece for the die-hard football fan.
