The innovative vinyl figure by Hong Kong-based Fools Paradise, the HONOMONO TAIKETSU PANDA Figure is the company’s humorous and literal take on the common term in the watch world: the Panda Dial. The PANDA figure features a Rolex Daytona-inspired dial, where the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock subdials make up the eyes. The Panda’s snout protrudes from the otherwise flat surface, and the 12 o’clock position reads “FOOLEX.” The PANDA figure wears a silver crown — a nod to Rolex’s iconic symbol. Measuring 11-inches high, the vinyl figure also sports ears and a stubby tail.
The HONOMONO TAIKETSU PANDA non-mobile figure will be limited to 499 (made to order) figures worldwide, adding to its exclusivity. Preorders for the 4th Quarter of 2022 release of the figure are available now on Fools Paradise web store for a purchase price of $348, including shipping. This latest offering by the brand is another of its unique products that is described by some as Kung Fu Panda meets Rolex. Though a creative description to be sure, one can’t argue with its merit. It is important to keep in mind that this product is a prototype, therefore, each subsequent issue may vary slightly.
