In advance of the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show next month, Honda has offered a sneak peek at the prototype of its first electric vehicle for the European market.
From what is revealed by the exterior photographs of the new Honda e Prototype, the car remains generally true to Honda’s Urban EV Concept from 2017, sporting a clean and minimalist design that looks simultaneously futuristic and of the moment. Key aesthetic improvements in the e Prototype include smaller driver/passenger-side doors, rear doors with hidden handles, and distinct rounded tail lights that mirror it headlights.
One of the most significant changes in the e Prototype is a slightly more practical and less sporty silhouette that stresses practical urban commuting more than putting the pedal to the metal on the open road. This doesn’t mean, however, that the e Prototype doesn’t perform. Thanks to its wider stance and rear-wheel-drive platform, this car is bound to deliver some pretty dynamic and compelling driving characteristics.
