HOKA recently announced its limited release HOKA x Moncler Mafate Speed 2 trail running shoes. The company says their new mountain shoe is innovative for both the mountains and the city. To that end, HOKA x Moncler Mafate Speed 2 fuses HOKA’s trail heritage with Moncler’s high-quality performance wear to produce an elevated version of the MAFATE SPEED 2. According to Gretchen Weimer, HOKA’s global vice president of product, the HOKA Mafate Speed 2 sneaker model is a spin on one of HOKA’s original silhouettes.
Plus, the redesign boasts signature style elements from each brand. It features a lightweight, no-sew speed construction, the VIBRAM Megagrip rubber outsole, and maximum grip lugs for stability on any surface. The background combination of white and silver-grey offset the shoe’s reflective inserts and tri-color details on the laces and heel pull. Details make this limited edition mountain shoe unique, such as the iconic Moncler patch embossed on the tongue and striking branding on the insole. HOKA says its goal is to inspire with purpose and passion. The company crafts bold new solutions for running, walking, fitness, and the outdoors.
